MUMBAI, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened flat with positive note Wednesday as investors await June quarter earnings season that will begin next week.

The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex opened at 35,417.36, 38.76 points or 0.12 percent up compared to its previous close at 35,378.60.
