CHONGQING, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and six injured in a traffic accident in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Sunday, according to the municipal public security bureau.

The accident occurred at around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday. A 57-year-old female driver surnamed He lost control of her car at an intersection in Qianjiang District, Chongqing, and the car collided with other vehicles and pedestrians, killing two people and injuring six.
